Fall Schedule

Hope everyone is having a great summer.  We'll start up our major activities in September; here is our tentative fall schedule for the fall.  

• Thursday, Sept 11 - Monthly Meeting, guest speaker: Cheryl Boban, Recycling Perks
• Saturday, Sept 13 - Adopt-A-Road & International Coastal Cleanup by Oaklette Bridge
• Saturday, October 4 - Phase 2 Native Plant Garden installation at new entrance at Indian River Park
• Thursday, Oct 9 – Monthly Meeting,  guest speaker: City Councilmember Suzy Kelly
• Saturday, October 25 – Adopt-A-Spot Gardening along Indian River Road
• Thursday,  Nov 13 – Monthly Meeting,  guest speaker: Elizabeth River Project plan update
• Saturday, Nov 15 - Adopt-A-Road Indian River Road Cleanup
• Thursday,  Dec 11 – Holiday Party
• Saturday, Dec 13 -  Invasive Plant Removal @ Indian River Park
• Spring 2015 - BioBlitz at Indian River Park

Our regular meetings are on the second Thursday of each month from 7-8:30 pm at Oaklette United Methodist Church, 520 Oaklette Drive, Chesapeake, Va. 23325.    The Saturday volunteer events usually start around 9 am.   We'll publish more detailed information in August.
